  Nocturno
flash Nocturno (piece)

This composition, written for full symphonic orchestra, introduces us in a very intimate story. With obvious Italian influences, Navarro tries to reflect that existentialist concept of the everlasting return, through a musical litany, where the strings play a continuous accompaniment. The main theme describes accurately a feeling of deep sadness produced by the lack of vital desire. It mainly tells a story of disenchantment.

This piece is not part of a soundtrack so far. It was first performed in a concert held at the Liceo Francés (French Lyceum) in Madrid, in April 2001, with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music from London, conducted by the composer.

It could illustrate a dramatic film full of nostalgic feelings.
