Diego Navarro to attend the 15th edition of the Krakow Film Music Festival as a composer

This will be a special concert focused on helping Ukrainian people and musicians called “Composers4Ukraine”.

A beautiful and much called-for project, full of significance and love, for all those currently suffering. Below is the official presentation text of the festival:

“We are facing one of the most difficult times in modern history. We firmly believe that the duty of the festival is to appreciate and highlight both Ukrainian heroism and the tremendous, selfless help provided by people around the world. As always, we want to stand shoulder to shoulder with our partners, creating a united and powerful statement among film music composers.

There are more than two million refugees in Poland, among them many artists: musicians from Kyiv, Lviv and Kharkov who are also looking for a place to work. Therefore, the choir and orchestra that will perform during the concert will be composed, among others, of Ukrainian musicians. They will perform songs composed or dedicated especially for this occasion by composers associated with the FMF, among them: John Williams, Howard Shore, Lolita Ritmanis, Laura Karpman, Elliot Goldenthal, Diego Navarro, Trevor Morris, Don Davis, Craig Armstrong, Stephen Warbeck, Dirk Brossé, Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz, Benjamin Wallfisch and Michael Giacchino.”
