Animated Film “Puerta del Tiempo” Original Soundtrack, now available on all digital platforms
Today is a very important day for Diego Navarro. For the first time, on all digital platforms, the original soundtrack of the animated film “Puerta del Tiempo”, written and directed by Pedro Eugenio Delgado, is finally available. This, the first feature film scored by the Canarian composer, was recorded in April 2002 in Tenerife. After weeks of hard work and preparation in his studio, this new album release today, finally, comes to light.
“Puerta del Tiempo” was his first feature film, a challenge that he took on in its entirety, and that he took home, to his island. It was the first musical production of a national film recorded in the Canary Islands. This event writes a new page in cinema and music for audiovisuals in the Canary Islands, and is the embryo of other subsequent projects. More than 120 musicians, including orchestra and choir, took part in this, one of the largest musical productions that had ever been made in Spanish cinema to date. Performed by the Classical Orchestra of La Laguna and the Polyphonic Choir of the University of La Laguna, under his baton. Accompanying this new edition, Navarro presents a beautiful booklet that can be downloaded upon purchase of the album on iTunes, to be shared shortly. In it, he reveals the exciting details of this epic adventure.
