‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ receives the biggest round of applause in FIMUCITÉ history
The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Tenerife Film Choir, under the baton of Diego Navarro, achieved the highest success in the first live-to-picture experience of symphonic- choral character held within the Tenerife International Film Music Festival.
The main concert of the 12th FIMUCITÉ edition, devoted to Steven Spielberg’s visionary take on UFO experience with ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’, received endless standing ovations from the amazed full house in the Tenerife Auditorium. This artistic success marks a new artistic direction for future editions of the festival.
