Documentary about Diego Navarro in Play Kraków
Today, a wonderful documentary focused on the figure of composer and director Diego Navarro and his work outside the Canary Islands was broadcast on Polish TV channel Play Kraków. It was filmed last May when he went to Poland to conduct the main concert of the last edition of the Festiwal Muzyki FIlmowej w Krakowie 2023.
Maestro Navarro especially thanks the artistic director of the festival, Robert Piaskowski, the producer, Magda Brudzińska, for her professionalism and care invested in this project, journalist Małgorzata Rutkowska for her fascinating questions and work planning, and the entire team.
It is a beautiful portrait of the work done after so many years of working on the stages of Krakow as a director and composer. Also, as Robert points out, promoting and creating bridges of mutual collaboration between festivals, cities, cultures, releasing new content and projects within the field of music for the audiovisual, and strengthening a beautiful brotherhood that has endured after so many years, giving immense and incalculable fruits.
