Diego Navarro nominated for the prestigious World Soundtrack Awards

The Tenerife composer has just been nominated for the “Public Choice Award” category, at the prestigious World Soundtrack Awards that are awarded each year by the Ghent International Film Festival in Belgium. Navarro wrote this score for the intimate drama “Pasaje al Amanecer” (Passage to Dawn), a work released by the Hollywood label Varèse Sarabande.

The other nominees are: “Arrival” (Jóhan Jóhannsson), “Viceroy”s House (AR Rahman), “Voice from the stone” (Michael Wandmacher) and “The chess player” (Alejandro Vivas).

Navarro brought again the musical production of this soundtrack to Tenerife, a score performed by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra and the Girls Choir of the Professional Conservatory of Santa Cruz conducted by the composer.
